I graduated from James Madison University with a BA in Theatre Performance and Theatre Education in May of 2022. Go Dukes!!

I spent my first 2 years post-grad teaching and directing ages 3-18. It was truly the most rewarding experience of my life! I've always had a passion for teaching ever since I was a little girl playing "school" in my basement. Oh the joy of coming home from school just to do.....more school.

I have been pursuing acting and modeling ever since graduating but now I am living in Los Angeles to make it a career! (Bet no one's ever said that before)

I am so excited for all the possibilities ahead :)

Ever since I was young, I have loved performing; whether that was in community theatre, school shows, college level theatre, or writing plays and performing them in my basement. Now, this did not just entail putting up a show in a day - no - I was a 7 year old with a vision. I created rehearsal calendars, props lists, set designs, held auditions, had publicity shoots, sold concessions, and required all actors to be off-book. That’s when my mom created the nickname ‘Demanda’ for me. Despite my inability to do any of it “just for fun”, these plays became my biggest passion. From that point on I never stopped.

Performing gives me the opportunity to empathize with a character and therefore grow my empathy as a human. I love telling stories that can make people see the world differently, even in a small way. Acting brings me perspective into my own self as well as the world around me. Thanks to ‘Demanda’, I developed a my life-long love.

Of course, there are other things I do besides performing and teaching! Free time is very important to me and my mental health. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, going on walks, re-watching The Parent Trap every few weeks, baking, playing with my cat Smudge, and going to the beach!

Although I attended university in Virginia, I was born and raised outside of Boston, MA! Pretty wicked. If you ever want to talk about Cape Cod, Fenway franks, or speeding, please reach out!
